The scenery, the love and the story that starts when exchanging vows at an archaeological site are not only legal but sacred! With the option of being celebrated by an officiant or ... morea Shaman, the sounds, the smell, and overall experience make this wedding ceremony a popular type among destination weddings.

Jamie with Confetti Belize is the WORST
If you are getting married in Belize DO NOT use Jamie. He is the most unprofessional and rude wedding "planner" I have ever encountered. For starters, he lacks communication skills. He doesn't pay vendors which he makes you pay him so he can pay them and then blames his unprofessionalism on them. Jamie is a total scam artist. He arrived at the rehearsal over 30 minutes late, wearing a backpack and ... more drinking a Monster energy drink that smelled of alcohol, and didn't acknowledge or apologize for his tardiness. We basically planned the entire wedding right there at the rehearsal since he had done nothing to prepare or plan for the ceremony. He was rude to the bridal party and other wedding vendors. On the wedding day, everything was very disorganized and he was belittling the bridal party. He had zero sense of direction or leadership. The marriage certificate has yet to arrive and upon being asked about his response was, "Oh you want legal papers? I thought we were doing this just a spiritual thing". Do yourself a favor and stay away from Jamie with Confetti Grand Belize.

I agree I had my share of Jaime ..but this is his most recent review below For days, I have felt anxious and sad about a recent situation. I have always loved working in this industry with its wonderful vendors, hotels, and planners. Belize itself is just incredible! Unfortunately, this all came undone when a planner verbally attacked me over iMessage, Facebook and Instagram. As a female in this industry ... more , it was shocking to be spoken to so disrespectfully. In October, we photographed a beautiful beach wedding. Despite many attempts, I never received full payment and was even threatened about jobs by someone claiming to work for the planner. I should have known better. This planner had a history of not paying his vendors, though he eventually did. In December, he finally started making installments until the balance was paid. Though not ideal or in my contract, I accepted so I could finally send the photos to the clients. With the holidays approaching, I don’t normally take many December jobs and try to stay of my computer to spend time with family instead. So on the 21st, the bride and groom called, disappointed they wouldn’t have photos by Christmas. I felt blamed, so I explained their photos were ready months ago but I hadn’t been paid yet which is why it took so long to be delivered. I had also asked the planner for emails which I never got as well. They were so understanding, which shows the blessing of working with wonderful clients. For that I’m grateful! Then on January 4th at 9pm, I received a barrage of shocking, disrespectful texts from the planner. Though I wanted to move on, after learning more, I need to share my story and perspective so that future couples dont experience this. Share if you can. You cant force people to respect you, but you can refuse to tolerate their disrespect. Xx Mon
