Xunantunich Maya Temple Tour (Full Day Tour)

Journey into western Belize and discover Xunantunich, one of Belize’s most spectacular Maya archaeological sites. Surrounded by lush tropical scenery, this ancient city offers a fascinating look into the history, culture, and achievements of the Maya civilization.
Your adventure takes you through the beautiful Belizean countryside before arriving at the Mopan River, where you’ll cross aboard the traditional hand-cranked ferry. From there, continue into the archaeological reserve and begin exploring the ancient Maya city.

With your knowledgeable guide, discover impressive plazas, temples, carved monuments, and ancient structures while learning about the people who once called Xunantunich home.
The highlight of the visit is El Castillo, the tallest structure at Xunantunich. Climb to the upper levels and take in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding rainforest and the Mopan River valley.

Cancellation Policy

We have carefully considered the best services we can provide to make your expedition/vacation a most memorable one.  It is with that in mind that we realize that there are always unforeseen accidents and incidents that might interfere with your plans thus calling for amendments/changes.


We are hereby introducing our guidelines and requirements for the cancellation to be effective and successful on your behalf.

Tour and/or Transfers must be confirmed on the 50% deposit of grand total or payment in full

Confirmation of 50% deposit must be made at least 48 hours before time

Request of cancellation must be made in writing or direct call to our offices 24 hours in advance

Guests must acknowledge that the Central Bank requires a minimum of 3 working days to refund a direct foreign account after the request in writing from our company.

Nelson Maya Adventures will retain 15% of any and all deposits amount for bank refund transactions.

No Shows are completely NON REFUNDABLE

Failure to notify us of any late changes can result in NO REFUND

Deposits can be held for future Tours and /or Transfers for a 1 time period not exceeding 6 months
