Combo Cooking class & Treasure Hunt in San Pedro Belize

The cooking class starts from 10:00 AM up to 1PM//BREAK//Treasure hunt starts from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, where you will meet your guide at Central Park. 

During the morning of the tour:

• You will learn how to prepare delicious and authentic traditional dishes.
• An immersive, interactive and friendly experience where you can discover local ingredients, traditional cooking techniques and the secrets of the country's most popular dishes.
• You will be guided by a passionate Belizean family, who will share their knowledge and love for cooking with you.
• You will learn how to prepare iconic dishes such as ceviche, pupusas or burritos with fresh and local seasonal ingredients.

In the afternoon:
You will meet your guide, a passionate expert at Central Park and wander through the charming streets following clues, discover hidden spots, and savour local specialities. Each step immerses you in an interactive culinary treasure hunt, far from the usual tourist paths.

Explore the history, traditions, and culinary culture of Belize in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. At every stop, solve a puzzle to uncover a secret ingredient, combine them to guess an iconic dish, and earn your well-deserved gourmet reward.

Explore authentic neighbourhoods, uncover hidden gems, & enjoy carefully selected local food tastings as you solve clues along the route. Learn about the city’s culinary traditions, history & culture while engaging in a playful & immersive activity.

The activity must be booked minimum 48 hours in advance.
Children are welcome!
These activities are free for children aged 2 to 6.
They participate in the cooking class with one of their parents and accompany them on the treasure hunt, though they do not actively take part in it.
There is no need to book a spot for them.
Cancellation & refund policy:
The activity must be booked, minimum 48 hours in advance.
To receive a full refund, travelers may cancel up to 24 hours before the experience start time in the local time-zone.
No refunds will be given after that time period.
No partial refund if the person fails to show up for one of the activities.
For the treasure hunt only 
The visit is only canceled if the weather conditions do not allow the practice of the activity in complete safety.
In this case, the activity may be postponed or refunded.

For the treasure hunt, we highly recommend having a vehicle for this activity, allowing you to have a seat for your guide

- The Organizers are not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.
- Consumption of alcohol is entirely at your discretion.
- Please drink responsibly and do not drive under the influence.
- The event is meant to be fun and respectful. Any inappropriate behaviour, including dangerous or illegal actions, may result in immediate disqualification from the hunt.

- Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Participants must inform the partners of any food allergies or intolerances they may have during the tastings.
- The organizer cannot be held responsible in the event of an allergic reaction, except in the case of proven fault or negligence in the management of information provided by the participant.
