Relocation Tour
Dear Break Away Belize Travel Team, I am planning a 7-day relocation scouting trip to the Corozal District to evaluate the region for long-term rental living. Because of your deep local expertise and comprehensive logistics management, I would love to work with you to execute a seamless, end-to-end itinerary. I want to avoid the stress of driving unfamiliar dirt roads and navigating border crossings ... more independently. Therefore, I am looking for an all-inclusive or bundled package that covers private chauffeured transportation, entry-level/expat-friendly bayfront lodging, and local logistics for the duration of my trip. Below is the step-by-step itinerary I would like to execute: • Day 1: Arrival & Private Transfer o Private shuttle pickup from BZE International Airport and transfer to our bayfront lodging in Corozal. • Day 2: In-Town Reality & Daily Logistics o Chauffeured drop-off and pickup for a walking audit of the Corozal Central Market, local banks, and major supermarkets (Almiras/K-Mart). o An afternoon neighborhood driving tour of Finca Solana and the South Town residential pockets to check local infrastructure and look for rental stock. • Day 3: Consejo Peninsula Exploration o A dedicated drive up the 7-mile Corozal-Consejo Road to tour the residential loops of Consejo Shores, its waterfront parks, and Consejo Village (including an afternoon stop at local hubs like Smugglers Den). • Day 4: The Chetumal, Mexico Lifeline Run o A full-day cross-border trip into Chetumal, Mexico to audit North American retail (Sam’s Club, Walmart) and locate private medical facilities (such as Clínica Carranza). Please let me know if your vehicles cross the border directly or if you coordinate a trusted Mexican taxi connection at Santa Elena. • Day 5: Rental Property Showings & Real Estate Audit o Local on-call driver standby to transport us to scheduled appointments with local real estate property managers for long-term rental walkthroughs. • Day 6: Wildcard Exploration (Cerros Peninsula or Island Contrast) o A half-day driving tour around the south side of the bay to inspect off-grid coastal living options on the Cerros Peninsula. • Day 7: Private Return Transfer o Private morning transfer from our Corozal lodging back to BZE International Airport for our flight home. Trip Specifications: • Number of Travelers: 1 • Target Travel Dates: Early November • Lodging Preference: I prefer a comfortable, expat-friendly bayfront guesthouse, cabana, or casita (similar to Tilt-Ta-Dock, Tony's, or Serenity Sands) where I can experience local seaside living. Could you please let me know if you can facilitate this complete package, what your estimated total cost would be, and how we can best coordinate to lock in our dates? Thank you very much for your time and local expertise. I look forward to working with you. Best regards, Robert D Willis 860-377-3787 Bobwillis3787@gmail.com
