While at Bounty Bay, you’ll also get the opportunity to experience Clear Voyage, Belize’s ONLY 100% transparent boat. Step aboard for photos, content and an entirely different perspective of the Caribbean beneath your feet.
Then we turn it up.
As the afternoon moves toward sunset, we head to Sunday Funday, Caye Caulker’s popular Sunday boat meetup at the sandbar. Swim, socialize, enjoy the music and soak up the atmosphere as boats and people come together on the water.
After Sunday Funday, settle in for a beautiful sunset cruise back to San Pedro, with an approximate return time of 7:30 PM.

Unlike many Maya sites hidden deep within the jungle, Cerros has a spectacular coastal setting, giving visitors a unique combination of ancient history, tropical scenery, and beautiful waterfront views. Archaeological evidence indicates that Cerros developed into an important coastal trading and ceremonial center during the Preclassic period, connecting coastal and inland communities through important trade routes.

After exploring Cerros, continue to Santa Rita Maya Ruins, located near Corozal Town. Santa Rita provides another fascinating perspective on the Maya civilization and was an important trading and communication center during the Late Postclassic period. Archaeological evidence connects Santa Rita with the ancient Maya city of Chactemal, an important regional center whose influence extended into the northern Yucatán and surrounding areas.
Explore the remaining structures and learn about Santa Rita’s role in regional commerce and cultural exchange. Maya communities in this region participated in extensive trade networks involving goods such as cacao, honey, jade, obsidian, and other valuable products. Santa Rita’s location near the coast helped connect communities and trading routes throughout the region.
Together, Cerros and Santa Rita offer a fascinating comparison of two important chapters in Northern Belize’s Maya history.
