Set out after dark to explore the beautiful and peaceful Sittee River under a sky full of stars. Belize has many nocturnal creatures that come out after dark to the riverside to eat ... moreand drink from the river. Use high-powered flashlights to spot the eyeshine of crocodiles, kinkajou, coatimundi, raccoons, birds, resting iguanas, and much more!
The second half of this tour involves cruising through a hand-cut path from the river into the mangroves where you can spot resting bats on the sides of the trees and then out into Anderson's Lagoon which boasts bioluminescent plankton that lights up with any disturbance in the water. It is magical to see fish darting away from predators and the boat as you cruise along. The water also glows behind the boat as the prop wash activates the chemical reaction which causes the plankton to light up. This is so interesting and intriguing to visitors that a swim in these waters is almost irresistible so wear your swimwear and bring along a towel. Also, you may want to wear long pants and sleeves or bring a can of insect repellent before and after the tour as there may be biting insects at the dock.

Your adventure begins with a safety briefing from the first mate. Next, you will be secured in a life jacket and safety harness as you are instructed on how and when to move to the flight deck. After the chute is launched the first mate will attach the passenger bar to the chute and call you to the deck. You will stand as your harness is attached to the bar and then move forward and sit with your legs in front of you. And finally, …you’re flying! You will ascend slowly and smoothly as the captain guides you over the beautiful turquoise waters inside the barrier reef. Our certified crew has been trained by US experts to meet all US safety standards.
Sit back and relax, you will have approximately 12-15 minutes to enjoy the sights of San Pedro, the reef, and the surrounding beauty of Ambergris Caye. Take a selfie, make a video–you decide, it’s your adventure.

Our adventure begins as we depart the SEAduced by Belize located at the back Marina just down from the water taxi terminal. Departure is 9 am. We have paddle boards, kayaks, fishing gear, water floaties, and a slide. After you have had plenty of time to play we will serve lunch. Lunch is grilled chicken with peppers and onions, cilantro rice, black beans, tortillas, and a variety of sauces and toppings. We also start serving beer, rum punch, and signature mojitos with lunch. At about 3 pm we left anchor and while we head back you can relax on the top deck and sip a cold drink or indulge in our homemade brownies and cookies.
