We guarantee small groups, with no more than 6 divers per trip. All dives are supervised by a Certified Dive Master.
It all started about 8 years ago when Sim opened up Black Durgon as a snorkel shop. He ran it as a one-man operation for about 3 years taking out small groups to the reef.
Then he met Cory and they both shared an affinity for the ocean. Both being Dive Masters, they made that big decision to transform his snorkel shop into a dive shop and that is how "Black Durgon Dives" was born.
Both Sim and Cory had experience working at dive shops on Caye Caulker and knew the ropes well. They make a great team and so this would be the start of their great adventure.
In 2010 Sim and Cory got married on the white sandy beach of Caye Caulker, their island home, and with the addition of little Penelope, their great adventure continues…
