You will be fishing aboard Capt. Elsey’s 25’ Imemsa center console, the “Agua Mala.” The boat is powered by a clean-burning Honda engine to get you to the fishing grounds without the smelly diesel fumes. Once you get there, you’ll be given quality fishing tackle and a choice of lures of live bait fresh from the tank to tempt in even the fussiest fish.
Everyone is warmly welcomed aboard the Agua Mala, from families and kids to seasoned sportfishers. As long as you can swim, Capt. Elsey would love to show you his native seas. He provides snacks and drinks on every trip and even throws in a tasty lunch on full day charters.
Making your time onboard special is a point of pride for Capt. Elsey. He can meet you at a convenient dock on Caye Caulker and will fillet all your fish after your trip. Due to the island’s nearshore drop off, it only takes 20 minutes to get to the deep sea fishing grounds. Fish usually targeted on these trips include Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Sailfish, Wahoo, and White and Blue Marlin.
