7:00 AM – Shared pickup from San Ignacio Welcome Center by Belize Ground Shuttle
7:30 AM – Border crossing at the Guatemala/Belize border
8:00 AM – Group pickup by TikalGo for guided tour, followed by lunch
4:30 PM – Return to the Western Border, then drop-off at San Ignacio Welcome Center

2025 Excursion Terms and Conditions

1. Excursion Overview

• Destination: Tikal National Park, Guatemala (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
• Departure Location: San Ignacio Welcome Center
• Departure Time: 7:00 AM
• Return Time: Approximately 4:30 PM
• Tour Duration: Full-day
• Minimum Group Size: A minimum of 10 participants is required for the tour to operate.

3. Scenic 2.5-hour drive to Tikal National Park

3. Tour Highlights

• Visits to the Central Acropolis, ceremonial plazas, and ancient Maya ball courts
• Opportunities to see Temple I (Grand Jaguar) and climb Temple IV for panoramic jungle views

• Sit-down lunch within the park to maximize exploration time

4. Exclusions
The following are not included in the tour package:

• Alcoholic beverages
• Belizean exit fee for international travelers (payable at the border)

5. Payment and Reservation
Reservations are only confirmed once full payment is received.

6. Tour Viability

• A minimum of 10 confirmed participants is required for this tour to proceed.
• If the minimum number is not reached, the tour will be canceled and participants will receive a full refund.

7. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made 2 or more days before departure: Eligible for a full refund, minus a 3% processing fee.
• Cancellations made less than 2 days before departure: Non-refundable.
• Tour cancellation due to low enrollment (fewer than 10 participants): Eligible for a full refund, minus a 3% processing fee.

8. Travel Documentation

• A valid passport is required for all participants to cross the border into Guatemala.
• It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure their travel documents are in order before the tour date.
