A quiet, peaceful location where you can fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the ocean waves. You have your own private pool and deck, plus an ocean pier, 120 ft long with a 20 x 24 ft deck and thatched palapa with cushioned lounge chairs and privacy fence. There is banana, papaya, pineapple, lime and mango trees on the property which you can harvest when in season. The full kitchen has all modern appliances, including double fridge, freezer, gas stovetop and microwave. The bathroom has double sinks, and a luxury double shower spa system. The 12 by 24 ft front deck of the house opens to the kitchen through french doors, and the living room opens with a 3 panel nana wall. The deck overlooks the Caribbean sea where you can watch the sunrise, and at times see dolphins or manatees. You will use the back deck to watch the sunset over the placencia lagoon and Maya Mountains. This unique property has water views on both sides of the house! A large gas barbecue and two kayaks are available for guest use, free of charge. Free wifi is available.
The peninsula is a friendly place to visit and there are many amenities available within a 10 minute drive from the house.

The Main floor unit of the house has a large living room with a futon (max 2 children), a full kitchen, a big balcony right on the beach, a king bedroom, AC, bathroom with double vanity.
The Upper unit also has a nice big balcony with views over the Caribbean. It’s more efficiency-sized, with a queen air conditioned bedroom and small kitchenette .
The Junior unit is our bargain “backpacker” unit. It is just a room, really, with tiled floors, its own bathroom, kitchenette and A/C.

The name says it all: Agua Villa= Water House. There’s a beach, a private pool, and a hot tub, all within steps of your shaded veranda. Use this house as your base for exploring the area, or just do what a lot of other guests have done in the past — Nothing but hang by the pool! Inside the 2-bedroom house are 2 comfortable bedrooms. One has a queen bed, while the other has a king that can be converted to 2 singles. There is also a detached suite with an extra king bedroom that can be an added-on upgrade if you need space for up to 6. Each bedroom has AC, and there is internet, plus cable TV in the living room. A full kitchen is available if you’d like to prepare your own meals, but don’t forget the Maya Beach Hotel Bistro is just 400 feet away.
This is a large hardwood cabana built right on the edge of the Placencia lagoon. It has a full kitchen with fridge freezer, 4 ring stove and oven, coffee machine and more. The bathroom ... morehas a hot/cold shower, toilet and vanity unit. The open plan living area has a queen bed, futon couch and plenty of storage for both hanging and folded items. There are fans in the kitchen, bedroom and living areas. We have recently added air conditioning - please note there is a $10/night additional charge if you wish to use it.
There is a screened door that leads out onto a full screened-in porch with table and chairs and hammock. Under the building is a washing machine and drying line for your use.
The cabana shares the lot with two other cabanas. One cabin has the owner and their awesome two children plus three legged rescue dog - Dude - living there full time. It has the lagoon in front, and canals on either side, adding to the tranquillity of the area.
The property is at the end of a shaded road, with water on three sides. There are plenty of trees, including Mango, Sapodilla, Cashew, Noni, Almond, Coconut and more, all of which attract a variety of birds, iguanas and more.
