By Belizing Staff 5/17/2019 3 minutes

What’s the current status of your love life? Are you two hanging together but have no time to get romantic? Perhaps you’ve just fallen in love and you can’t think of anything but each other 24/7. Maybe you’re so in love, you’re getting married and crave the perfect place to either hold your wedding or honeymoon, but finances are stopping you from taking the vacation guaranteed to cement the love you feel for each other.

Don’t despair. There’s a place designed for lovers that has no equal and it’s just a couple of hours by plane from the U.S.A and Canada.: Belize. Everyone speaks romance. Your dollar stretches further than a bridal garter. And since Belize’s network of resorts is committed to your privacy, you two don’t have to see another soul once you check into your accommodations.

Love is Always in the Air

Whether you decide to book an accommodation in a treehouse, within a forest or on the beach, Belize resorts cater to so many couples, lodgings are designed with love in mind. Luxury digs are roomy, beautifully appointed with tropical furnishings and feature modern bathrooms. Onsite dining at resorts means couples don’t have to leave the property if they prefer not to, and whether the resort you choose offers in-room spa services or there’s a spa on site, couples get their fill of amenities, the services of discreet service staff and all of the atmospheres a couple needs to reconnect during their stay in Belize.

Just for Lovers

Choose from a resort on Belize’s mainland, pick a private island where you can be truly alone or opt for a resort that’s in the middle of the action if you’re the couple on the go who loves nightlife as much as the excitement found within the country’s diverse menu of activities. Kiss underwater on a snorkeling tour or while standing under a waterfall where the rush of the waters matches the rush you feel at being with your sweetheart. Repair to private quarters at the end of your day to rediscover each other, snacking on Belizean chocolate, the world's best aphrodisiac!

Just for Engaged Couples

Skip the anxiety, stress, guest list chopping, and expense incurred when putting together a wedding by replacing the scene of your nuptials with a sandy beach under a full moon. Belize has become the place to go for a destination wedding thanks to packages offered by resorts that deliver everything necessary to make this landmark occasion beautiful and meaningful. Resort wedding planners do it all: Help couples navigate government legalities required to tie the knot and from flowers to cakes and champagne, you get all of the splendor at a fraction of the cost—even if you want something unique, like your ceremony staged at a Maya ruin or on a fishing trip deep into the ocean.

Just for Honeymooners

Whether you marry in Belize or come to decompress after your nuptials, honeymooners are VIPs in Belize and they can keep their wallets in their pockets because seasonal rates for everything from lodgings and meals to attractions are so affordable. Resort tour menus are packed with so many options, honeymooners can have trouble choosing between jungles, forests, Maya ruins, cave tubing, zip lining, and cultural fun. A honeymoon designed for lovers? You bet - whether or not you leave your digs during your stay!
