Manatee Lodge is located at the tip of the peninsula which is Gales Point Manatee Village. The neighboring Caribbean Sea which feeds into the lagoon is approximately 10 min. by boat. Its virtually uninhabited beach comprises one of the largest nesting grounds for the endangered Hawksbill Sea Turtle in the region. Nesting season is May - October.
