Join us on the scenic drive through Hummingbird Highway, just past Belmopan, the nation’s capital, for a fun-filled, magical day. We turn off the paved highway and drive a mile to ... morethe river bank where the adventure begins with a boat and a rope! Immediately, you will be engulfed in the serenity of nature and if you have sharp eyes, you will see monkeys and iguanas hanging out in the trees. After crossing the river, we will cool down with some natural juice and a light pastry before meeting our cowboy! The two-hour horseback riding adventure carries you across several terrains including jungle trails, teak plantations, farmland, and along river banks. After your invigorating ride, we will pause for some lunch (please inform us if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies). We then continue with a nature trail walk, visit the jaguar and exotic birds and conclude the walking tour with the art gallery housing Carolyn Carr’s original paintings and many artifacts found on the grounds. St. Herman’s cave is a little over an hour’s drive from Hopkins and less than two hours from Placencia. Cave tubing at St. Herman’s Caves starts with a 10-minute walk from the park ... moreto the cave entrance before you embark on your two-hour float in the cave. The experienced, licensed tour guide will provide interesting facts on the geology of the formations, the cave history as well as the importance of caves in Maya history and culture. At the end of the cave tubing, you will walk back upstream, where once again you get a chance to see the cave and its spectacular formations. Before returning back to Hopkins, we can stop to visit the inland Blue Hole.

Mayflower Bocawina National Park boasts over five waterfalls and in two of them you can rappel with experienced and licensed guides. This tour can either be combined with zip lining ... moreor done on its own. 

The Bocawina Falls is a better fit for beginners as it’s only a 20-minute hike and a 100’ rappel down the falls. During the hike, the guides will calm your fears and share their knowledge of the flora and fauna. 

For a more serious rappel, try Antelope Falls. The advanced 90-minute hike involves many inclines as well as the most refreshing swim in emerald pools and a breathtaking view of the forest and the Caribbean Sea (on a clear day)! After the break, your rappel of 250’ will begin! This is a half-day tour or about four hours.
