Birdhouses is composed of three birdhouses! They are Hummingbird House in orange tones, Woodpecker House in blue tones and Pelican House and in purple tones!
As part of Birdhouses there is a very private sigüal that can only be used by guests, when the tide is high, one can fish from there!
Only Birdhouses guests are allowed inside the premises!
We give our guests a cellphone to be able to contact us for anything that they may need, plus we live close by, although not too close, so that they may have privacy!

Pelicans Crossing Seaside Escape is a luxury private beach front villa with a large private pool. Set on the Caribbean sea you can rent just the space you need. Designed to be rented by the suite for one couple, two suites and kitchen/living room area for two couples or the entire villa for six people. Suites can be rented with or without the gourmet kitchen and living area.
If you choose a single suite, rest assured you will have what you need. All suites are equipped with a breakfast station (toaster oven and griddle with coffee maker) as well as a mini refrigerator with freezer. Plenty of hiking, tubing, tours by boat to the cayes for snorkeling or diving for the more adventurous. Kayak up the beautiful Sittee River. Our home is a downstairs flat with the cozy feel of the Caribbean breeze. It is fully furnished, with Linens provided. The kitchen has its basic necessities so you can have the comfort of preparing your meals if you choose to. We provide wireless internet and cable.
Guests will have access to the entire flat of the home which is three bedrooms, one and a half bath, a living, dining room, home office, and kitchen. The master bedroom, the living room, and dining area are air-conditioned and two rooms are equipped with fans. We have a side patio area that guests can relax and enjoy the fresh Caribbean breeze.
We are very family-oriented and we are always busy with activities, but we will always be available for a chat and for any assistance needed. We provide a prepaid phone to our guests so that they can contact us whenever they need to do so.
My family lives upstairs. We are all adults so we are relatively quiet except for footsteps you might hear when we are home moving around.
Our neighborhood is quiet, nice, within walking distance from downtown where you can find banks, shopping, tourist area, and water taxis to the islands. The seafront is about 30 yards from our home. You can sit on the sea wall and enjoy the Caribbean Sea and the entire bay view.
The best way to get around is by renting a car or taking a cab. If you let us know your desires we would be happy to assist you in making your stay enjoyable. We can also arrange tours for you..
The home is fully fenced with an alarm system for your safety. We love that colonial look and our home is modern with lots of colonial flavors.

Many tours are available at this location such as Lagoon tour, bird ... morewatching, Altun Ha, Lamanai, horseback riding, fishing (seasonal), museum visits. Also, try and experience cooking like a Local. A local grocery store and dining within walking distance, just a 2 minutes walk away from the beautiful Lagoon. Transfer available by bus or private car to the location.
We have located 32 miles north of Belize City, a very tranquil environment so many species of beautiful birds are found in this area you can come to spend the night and wake up early to do a bird watching tour. Our cozy 3 bedrooms 1 bathroom home is located 2 minute walk from the beautiful lagoon and located a few minutes away from shops, dining, and the museum. Our home is newly built and is fully furnished and has everything available to make your stay very comfortable and enjoyable. We offer transfer to and from our location at very reasonable rates but you can also catch the bus to the village and for your return and catch the same bus back to the city as the local bus leaves early in the mornings. Upon request, home cook meals can be available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner but we have a fully equipped kitchen to make your own meal and 2 minutes away from the location there is a family member who hosts a Kriol cooking class for local dishes, for more details and cost please message us.
