The Cozy Cabana is a cute and cozy studio, located in a quiet neighborhood and only minutes walking distance to the famous Split. The interior is basic, though comfortable. If you ... morewant a touch of the real Belizean lifestyle, this is the place to be.
A/C is not included in price but can be chosen as an extra for US$ 5 per night.
The cabana hosts a maximum of 2 people and is a perfect hangout for all the activities on the island. Inside is a small living area with kitchen (stove/oven, fridge, all necessary utensils), half separate bedroom with a queen bed and a spacious shower/bathroom. Outside is a comfortable veranda with hammock. The cabana does not have hot water, but in a tropical climate you'll be happy to take a refreshing shower.
Close to the house -about 50 yards from the property- is our dock, which is a perfect spot for a morning coffee, sunbathing, or a dip in the water. This dock also gives you a front row seat to the most beautiful sunsets. If you like dogs, you're at the right spot: we have 2 very friendly dogs who love to play.
The cabana itself is located in the backyard of the very unique and authentic (outdoor) restaurant 'Wish Willy Bar & Grill', run by the owner. The restaurant is not more than a couple of tables and chairs in the yard and you have to walk through it to reach your cabana. From the veranda you look out over the restaurant. Right now the restaurant is closed because of COVID but it is possible to order meals if you like.
As a guest you have access to all the hammocks in the yard, the restaurant and our dock. We also rent kayaks & paddle boards for reasonable prices.

Birdhouses is composed of three birdhouses! They are Hummingbird House in orange tones, Woodpecker House in blue tones and Pelican House and in purple tones!
As part of Birdhouses there is a very private sigüal that can only be used by guests, when the tide is high, one can fish from there!
Only Birdhouses guests are allowed inside the premises!
We give our guests a cellphone to be able to contact us for anything that they may need, plus we live close by, although not too close, so that they may have privacy!

All meals on the Rising Tide are included in the package price. The Rising Tide also includes one (1) case of Belikin beer per angler and one (1) bottle of rum per angler. A fully stocked bar is also available in the evenings. Should anglers want any additional or special beverages, they are encouraged to bring their own. Meals aboard the Rising Tide are always a highlight and are based upon traditional Belizean cuisine. Breakfast includes dishes such as fry jacks and Johnny cakes, eggs, sausages, bacon, plenty of fresh fruit, and fresh orange juice. Lunches include salads, pasta, sandwiches, rice, and beans. Dinners may include, Belizean stewed chicken, shrimp creole, beef curry, lobster, and fried fish, in addition to other traditional sides and always fresh limeade and desserts. Our home is a downstairs flat with the cozy feel of the Caribbean breeze. It is fully furnished, with Linens provided. The kitchen has its basic necessities so you can have the comfort of preparing your meals if you choose to. We provide wireless internet and cable.
Guests will have access to the entire flat of the home which is three bedrooms, one and a half bath, a living, dining room, home office, and kitchen. The master bedroom, the living room, and dining area are air-conditioned and two rooms are equipped with fans. We have a side patio area that guests can relax and enjoy the fresh Caribbean breeze.
We are very family-oriented and we are always busy with activities, but we will always be available for a chat and for any assistance needed. We provide a prepaid phone to our guests so that they can contact us whenever they need to do so.
My family lives upstairs. We are all adults so we are relatively quiet except for footsteps you might hear when we are home moving around.
Our neighborhood is quiet, nice, within walking distance from downtown where you can find banks, shopping, tourist area, and water taxis to the islands. The seafront is about 30 yards from our home. You can sit on the sea wall and enjoy the Caribbean Sea and the entire bay view.
The best way to get around is by renting a car or taking a cab. If you let us know your desires we would be happy to assist you in making your stay enjoyable. We can also arrange tours for you..
The home is fully fenced with an alarm system for your safety. We love that colonial look and our home is modern with lots of colonial flavors.

We have located 32 miles north of Belize City, a very tranquil environment so many species of beautiful birds are found in this area you can come to spend the night and wake up early to do a bird watching tour. Our cozy 3 bedrooms 1 bathroom home is located 2 minute walk from the beautiful lagoon and located a few minutes away from shops, dining, and the museum. Our home is newly built and is fully furnished and has everything available to make your stay very comfortable and enjoyable. We offer transfer to and from our location at very reasonable rates but you can also catch the bus to the village and for your return and catch the same bus back to the city as the local bus leaves early in the mornings.
