St. Herman's Blue Hole
We paid $600 for a ride from Hopkins to St. Herman's and the cave tour. The ride was great (nice comfortable van), we had a good driver (Curt), and cold water and cookies were provided after we went tubing. But, we already had a rental car though so, in our case, we probably should have found a way to meet a tour guide at St. Herman's to save money. The tour involved a short and easy hike, and a tube ... more paddle somewhat upstream followed by a slow float back downstream, all within the cave system. There is no open air tubing on this tour. The tour guide at St. Herman's was very kind but the gear was pretty old and very smelly. The Blue Hole was a nice spot for a chilly swim.
