Curfew Update for Passengers on Chicago - Belize Flight

By 1/9/2021

The United Airlines Chicago - Belize seasonal flight has begun service to the Philip Goldson International Airport (BZE) on Saturday, January 9th, 2021. This flight route is scheduled to arrive at 6:50 PM.

Due to its late arrival, and the 8:00 PM curfew that is presently in place, the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) takes this opportunity to advise you of the following:
  • The passenger itinerary for the Chicago flight will act as a pass and will be honored when presented at the checkpoint. Anyone picking up locals/residents should ensure that each passenger has his/her itinerary readily available to present to the authorities upon request.
  • For tourists using rental cars, including hotel transport, the passenger itinerary of the Chicago flight will also act as a pass and will be honoured when presented at the checkpoints. Each passenger should have his/her itinerary readily available to present to the authorities upon request. Tourists must go directly to their Gold Standard hotel.
  • This approval is valid only up until 10:00 PM.
All hoteliers and property owners are advised to share this information with your guests who may be arriving on this flight so that they are aware before their arrival.

These protocols will remain in effect for the Chicago-Belize flight once the 8pm curfew remains in place.
