Description
Cook your catch on the beach! What’s better than a full-day trip of snorkeling, fishing, and beach cooking on a secluded beach in Southern Belize? It’s intimate, fun, tasty, and very inexpensive.

You are taken out on this adventure trip on one of our boats to the southern barrier reef for snorkeling and fishing.

Your captain will take you to his favorite spot for your chance at catching snapper, grouper, barracuda, lionfish, lobster (seasonal), and conch (seasonal). After snorkeling, you’ll get on board and your guide will whisk you away to a private island where you will be able to cook your fresh catch! 

Your guide will cook your catch right in front of you on the beach ensuring the freshest & best cooking experience possible. Feast on your freshly grilled catch and delicious sides. After lunch, relax on the beach and enjoy an afternoon swim or snorkel, before heading back to the mainland. 

You come to the beach, eat, drink, and be merry. It’s that simple.

Great day!
Medz and Jeff did a great job. Our fishing experience was wonderful, but even better than that was the snorkeling. We saw a huge loggerhead turtle and so many fishes. Then, even better, was Medz’s cooking. He fixed up the fish in several ways (I don’t want to ruin the surprise) and it was some of the best food I’ve ever had.

Amazing experience and food!
Meds and Jeff were both amazing guides and did everything possible to make this an incredible trip. On top of that, the food they served for lunch was incredible. When we stopped at the small island to cook the catch there were a couple other small tour groups and none had a meal as fantastic and elaborate as ours. I can’t recommend these guys enough!

This experience was amazing, complemented by superb guides.
I can't say enough good things about this tour. Medz and his jr guide showed us how to catch bait and hit up the best fishing and snorkel spots. The fishing was excellent but what surprised me was the snorkeling. I've been to top snorkeling spots such as hol chan and shark ray alley, and the patch reefs we visited were healthier and more vibrant! Another top highlight of the trip was taking a lunch ... more break at a small caye to bbq our catch and make fresh ceviche! I would totally do this trip again!

Don't be late!!!
This was my first time fishing at sea and had a wonderful time with my group. I was hoping for bigger fish at the end of my hook, but luck was not on my side that day. Other than that, the trip was worth every second of it, and having the honor to prepare your own catch is something special. Make sure to get on this tour early in the morning for bigger fish!

Josephine was great enough to accomdate our group of 7 since we were travelling to Hopkins from San Ignacio. This tour was a lot of FUN! We started off by fishing (the catch is your lunch). 3 of us got to snorkel while the rest of the group spent the time fishing. We ending our tour by enojying fresh ceviche and more on a little caye. You will get to experience the best of Southern Belize with this ... more tour!

Highly Recommend Cook Your Catch
My family of 6 loved this excursion. Milton and "Big Grouper" were excellent guides. Josie was super to work with and very responsive. Just the right balance of fishing, snorkeling and eating some great, fresh snapper. Milton was right there with us snorkeling, pointing out sting ray and nurse shark. A great day. I would use Belizing for all your Belizean excursions!
