Nested between Cristo Rey, San Antonio Village and El Progresso Village, Elijio Panti National Park was established by the Itzamna Society to protect and preserve the environment and culture and for the development of the community. It was signed as a national park on February 23, 2001The area of the park extends to some parts of the Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve. The land is breathtaking with it mountainous terrain, decorated with majestic waterfalls, natural pools, medicinal trails and a diverse flora and fauna collection. The Elijio Panti National Park is named after the last Maya Master heal of Belize, Dr. Elijio Panti.
