Cuello’s is a family-owned business with roots that go back 60 years in the country. The family patriarch, Ignacio Cuello, started making strong rum back in the 1950s. Over time he tweaked his recipe and methods while slowly perfecting his signature style. Ten years later, the business-side of things developed under the leadership of Froylan Atilano Cuello and the brand was under full-scale operation in the late 1960s. They added several varieties of rum to the line along with other spirits to meet market demands. The next generation of Cuellos took over in 2009 and have been pushing the brand’s distribution and visibility.

We are Neftali and Tammy Lemus, the Owners of Xsite Belize Sailing & Adventures. Neftali (better known to most as Nef) was raised in Northern Belize and has incredible experience ... moreand knowledge about the sea and marine life. After graduating college and completing an internship at Turneffe Island he continued his training in Caye Caulker acquiring his advanced skills in Open Water Diving. He then moved to Belize City where he trained as a Rescue Diver / Dive Master and gained his Tour Guide License. Then while working with dolphins and manatees as a Tour Guide, he also acquired his Instructors License to teach diving. In 2008 he moved to the island of Ambergris Caye, San Pedro and has been Sailing, Diving and Instructing ever since.
Nef's wife Tammy has sold real estate here on the island of Ambergris Caye for over 10 years and loves being on the water. Tammy works in the office and behind the scenes doing all bookings, reservations, website updates and answering questions to future guests.
Together they started Xsite Belize Sailing & Adventures. They are extremely proud of the service they offer to their Guests.
