Run by longtime Punta Gorda post office worker William Tate and his family, this guesthouse on a quiet ... moreresidential street is an excellent value. With a/c, Wi-Fi, and cable TV, the rooms are immaculate, and the atmosphere's friendly and cheerful. One room has a kitchenette, and there's also a small common kitchen with refrigerator and microwave.
Mr Tate keeps his guesthouse in immaculate condition and it's the best budget deal in the town center. The six rooms inside the mauve two-story facade, set in a little garden with a gazebo, are all air-conditioned and good value at these rates. Two are self-contained, with kitchenettes, and all come with cable TV and hot showers.
