Enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the class, which takes place in a fully-equipped kitchen at the Rainforest Haven Inn. You are provided with an apron & hat. Pictures are also taken during the class which is then emailed along with the recipe.

Learn about the cuisine & food culture of Belize. Start with a visit to the market (dependent on weather conditions), then an ice-breaker activity to see how good you are at following instructions, after all it is a hands on cooking class. Thereafter, you start by sampling an array of local fruit wines. You then help prepare a variety of dishes under the tutelage of our local cooks using recipes handed down through generations.

You'll learn about the diverse Belizean cultures, try traditional preparation techniques, sample essential spices and feast on your creations. This small-group tour & has a maximum of 10 participants. Local fruit wine or rum punches are served during the class. Once the meal is finished, sit down & enjoy.
