The cabana hosts a maximum of 2 people and is a perfect hangout for all the activities on the island. Inside is a small living area with kitchen (stove/oven, fridge, all necessary utensils), half separate bedroom with a queen bed and a spacious shower/bathroom. Outside is a comfortable veranda with hammock. The cabana does not have hot water, but in a tropical climate you'll be happy to take a refreshing shower.
Close to the house -about 50 yards from the property- is our dock, which is a perfect spot for a morning coffee, sunbathing, or a dip in the water. This dock also gives you a front row seat to the most beautiful sunsets. If you like dogs, you're at the right spot: we have 2 very friendly dogs who love to play.
The cabana itself is located in the backyard of the very unique and authentic (outdoor) restaurant 'Wish Willy Bar & Grill', run by the owner. The restaurant is not more than a couple of tables and chairs in the yard and you have to walk through it to reach your cabana. From the veranda you look out over the restaurant. Right now the restaurant is closed because of COVID but it is possible to order meals if you like.
As a guest you have access to all the hammocks in the yard, the restaurant and our dock. We also rent kayaks & paddle boards for reasonable prices.
The house is situated in a fenced-in yard with lots of privacy. It's a bit out of the village but there are two complimentary bicycles which makes it easy to explore the island and ... morebike your way around. The house is basic though comfortable. It has a living with an open kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a private bathroom with hot & cold water. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove/oven, fridge, coffee machine, and all the other necessary utensils. One of the perks is a double-level veranda which offers a beautiful view over the neighborhood and the sea and is a perfect spot to relax. If you have enough of diving, snorkeling, fishing, swimming, or other activities, you can entertain yourself with a small library, smart TV (including Firestick), and wireless Internet. Or just hang out on the veranda with a cold beer or some Caribbean rum.

The cabana is a studio built on posts about 10 feet above the ground. This means more breeze, better views, fewer bugs, a shady place under the house, and dry feet during a tropical shower. In the house are one queen bed and a futon couch. The futon can be used for 1 adult or 2 children, so the cabana suits a maximum of 3 adults or a family of 4 with children under 12.
The kitchen is fully equipped (see amenities for specifics). The breezy veranda is a perfect spot to read, watch birds or relax in the hammock. If you have enough of the diving, snorkeling, fishing, swimming, or other activities on the island you can entertain yourself with a small library, a selection of board- and card games, smart TV (including Firestick), and WiFi.

We are located Ocean Front and on the South End ... moreof the Island of Caye Caulker approx 1.5 miles from the Village Center. We are also in a residential "off grid" neighborhood relying on Solar Power and Rain Water Catchment for our water supply, but you might not even notice with a little bit of conservation on your part ie turning off lights and fans when not in use. We provide bikes and kayaks while you're with us free of charge, also coffee, tea and drinking water. You have the use of the shared dock located next door at our sister property, and we are available you if needed as we live next door, but otherwise your privacy is important to us.
Wish You Were Here is located in an "offgrid" residential neighborhood at the southern point of Caye Caulker. We're a short 20 minute bike ride to the center of the Village where the action is, but far enough away to chill and have some quiet time when you're ready. Relax in the hammock or on the dock watching the sunset, and enjoy the almost constant breeze we get here at South Point.
