A great addition to our property this venue is located on the second floor of our main building, offering a unique romantic tree house setting with spectacular Caribbean views! A casual yet upscale setup, serves as a great spot for evening cocktails and dinner. Our menus are inspired by Euro-Caribbean Fusion Cuisine.
Portofino Restaurant offers a full a la carte Breakfast and Lunch menus. In the evenings, diners can expect fresh seafood, imported meats and fresh homemade pasta dishes listed on our Dinner menu. We also offer our guests a wine directory, filled with excellent imported wines with various by-the-glass options.

GREEN PARROT BEACH BAR & BISTRO
The name Green Parrot Beach Bar was not chosen by accident… This was the name of the old lodge that used to be here, before the van Noord family bought the land. Although Portofino Beach Resort is completely different than the former Green Parrot, we don't want to forget the history of this piece of paradise.
Our bar has indoor and outdoor seating and our bartenders offer bar service at our pool, on our beach or by the end of the dock.
Our outdoor terrace is home to our Green Parrot Bistro; you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch, tapas or dinner from our a-la-carte Portofino Restaurant menu while enjoying the cool Caribbean Sea breeze and a spectacular view.

Our Green Parrot Beach Bar serves tropical cocktails, a wide variety of imported wines, refreshing local or imported drinks or healthy smoothies, all while you unwind and relax during your vacation. Portofino guests never leave the Resort before they have tried our Margarita, considered one of our best signature drink! Made with fresh ingredients only and our very own secret ingredient it makes for the perfect drink. The Creole Gal, is our second most favorite cocktail, made with four of Belize’s finest rums, freshly squeezed orange and pineapple juice. Our wine directory has been especially created for the best selection of wines to be paired with our freshly cooked delicate dishes, savor these tastes even more and ask our waiters and bar tenders for recommendations on what wines to try with each dish. "The Beer of Belize", named Belikin, is still the most favorite beer amongst our guests. The Belize Brewing Company was established in 1969 and began brewing Belikin Beer and Belikin Stout in 1971. There are five villas located at Caye Villas, a beautifully landscaped beachfront property. The first floor consists of three bedrooms and three in-suite bathrooms. The north bedroom has a fun outdoor shower that can be used for rinsing the salt water off or for showering outside among the plants. Each bedroom as well as the living area is individually air conditioned.
The second level has a large Great Room which includes a comfortable living area combined with a dining room and kitchen. The Great Room is decorated with original paintings, Guatemalen antiques, and African artifacts. The dining area easily accommodates 8 guests for dinner. There are spacious porches off of each floor and the terrace off the Great Room offers a sweeping 180 degree view up and down the coast with enough area for both a hammock and a sitting area. Relax, read, or have lunch while enjoying your oceanfront view.
