Big Rock Waterfall and Xunantunich Start your day with your guide picking you up from your hotel, and off on just a 20 min drive out of San Ignacio towards Xunantunich where your guide ... morewill give you the history and information about the site. Climb Mayan temples take pictures and enjoy a beautiful narration of these amazing sites. After the tour of the site is completed, you move on to lunch with some delicious Belizean Lunch. After lunch, you head to the Mountain Pine Ridge area where the beautiful waterfall is located. With the now mostly paved roads, it is easier to access the Big Rock waterfalls. At the area, there will be a short 15-20 min hike to access the waterfall, jump dive, swim up to the base of the waterfall and take some beautiful pictures and then a 30 min hike back up to the van.

Pick Up: Done via boat between 5:15 to 5:30 am depending on where you are staying. Complimentary pick-up extends from Tuto (north) all the way down to Pelican Reef (south).

Your adventure begins with a safety briefing from the first mate. Next, you will be secured in a life jacket and safety harness as you are instructed on how and when to move to the flight deck. After the chute is launched the first mate will attach the passenger bar to the chute and call you to the deck. You will stand as your harness is attached to the bar and then move forward and sit with your legs in front of you. And finally, …you’re flying! You will ascend slowly and smoothly as the captain guides you over the beautiful turquoise waters inside the barrier reef. The Zip Line Adventure consists of 8 Zip Line Platforms each strategically located within the Rainforest canopy. Located just inside the Belize Barrier Reef, Silk ... moreCayes have beautiful white beaches surrounded by turquoise seas and are occupied by about a dozen coconut trees!
Silk Cayes are part of a marine reserve established to protect the outer reef and cayes and have an abundance of aquatic life, fish stocks, coral reef biodiversity, and healthy corals.
A typical day of snorkeling includes a briefing by the park rangers before your licensed snorkel guide leads you into the water to take you on a tour of the abundant and varied coral and to meet the local residents. If you have not snorkeled before, no problem. Our guides are happy to show you the ins and outs of snorkeling and show you the coral and those who inhabit it. Critters include spotted drums, huge lobsters, cleaner shrimp, arrow crabs, snapper, barracuda, and more varieties of reef fish than you can count.
Around mid-day, you’ll enjoy an authentic Belize-style picnic lunch. Often divers go out on the same boat and they join the snorkelers for lunch. This makes Silk Cayes a great destination for families or couples when some are divers and some are snorkelers.
After lunch, head back into the water to explore the coral and meet more of the denizens who make Silk Cayes their home.
But the best is still to come! After the second snorkel expedition and the divers return to the caye, we all head to a spot just inside the barrier reef where local fishermen clean their catch and where you are almost certain to have the opportunity to snorkel with huge turtles, rays, and sharks. Here is your chance for a great nose-to-nose photo with a very large turtle.

Hol Chan is one of the oldest marine reserves in Belize. The marine life is healthy and abundant. You will be surrounded by numerous colorful fish and corals, eagle rays, turtles, ... moreeels, barracuda, and many more.
We also give you the option to explore ( Belize's own version of the Titanic) the sunken barge. Nearby when the water temperature is just right you can swim just 10 feet away from a manatee. Stare in amazement as these gentle giants come up for air and look into your eyes with curiosity.
Once back at Caye Caulker, we visit the seahorses and the tarpons that reside on the west side of the island.
To reduce the amount of plastic waste produced, we ask that you PLEASE bring along a personal water bottle to refill.
**Price of the ferry from Belize City or San Pedro to the tour starting point can be a lot less if guests opt for us to purchase the ferry tickets for them.**
