This is a large hardwood cabana built right on the edge of the Placencia lagoon. It has a full kitchen with fridge freezer, 4 ring stove and oven, coffee machine and more. The bathroom ... morehas a hot/cold shower, toilet and vanity unit. The open plan living area has a queen bed, futon couch and plenty of storage for both hanging and folded items. There are fans in the kitchen, bedroom and living areas. We have recently added air conditioning - please note there is a $10/night additional charge if you wish to use it.
There is a screened door that leads out onto a full screened-in porch with table and chairs and hammock. Under the building is a washing machine and drying line for your use.
The cabana shares the lot with two other cabanas. One cabin has the owner and their awesome two children plus three legged rescue dog - Dude - living there full time. It has the lagoon in front, and canals on either side, adding to the tranquillity of the area.
The property is at the end of a shaded road, with water on three sides. There are plenty of trees, including Mango, Sapodilla, Cashew, Noni, Almond, Coconut and more, all of which attract a variety of birds, iguanas and more.

The single-family home is very spacious and comprises of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom is very large and offers not just a queen-size bed but also a comfortable sleeper sofa. Around this bedroom, you have an enormous space which serves as kitchen, dining and living room. The area is screened in and airy and you think you'd live in the treetops and can reach out to pick the Mangoes. The 2nd bedroom is small and separate from the main bedroom and sleeps 2, perfect for a kids bedroom. Upstairs you find the stunning watchtower. Have a drink and see the sunset over the Maya Mountains and the Placencia Lagoon.
The style of the house is rustic and simple but offers everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer combo, stove, and oven, pots, and pans.
Spend also some time on the amazing dock. Great for fishing or just relaxation.
The property has some of the oldest and largest mangroves, mango trees, orchids and palm trees.
A/C? Not needed – the house is so airy and you will love the wind coming from the ocean. TV? No, but who needs it when you are in such a great environment, go outside, read a book or have a chat.
Don't panic, Wifi is available.
4 bikes are available free of charge and there are also 2 kayaks and 1 stand-up paddle board for you to use as well as 2 snorkel gears. Additional you will have a fishing rod, perfect for fishing from the dock or kayak.
