Located on the beachfront, guests staying at this accommodation will get firsthand experience in Garifuna food and culture. The family of sisters who run the hotel and cafe live on ... morethe first floor of the guest house. Their big smiles and open arms make guests refer to this Inn as a home away from home. The four rooms have a shared bathroom. The rooms are clean, neatly furnished (even down to handmade rugs) and windows provide ample breeze to stay comfortable. The central area of the Inn is like a mini-museum displaying many of the traditional utensils and tools used by the Garifuna. Also on the property are the cafe and a stand-alone kitchen for the family cooking which is typical of many Garifuna homes. Next to the beach, there is a palapa with hammocks for folks to kick back, relax and enjoy the view and breeze of the Caribbean Sea.

The deck is a favourite spot for eating al fresco, sitting watching the waves roll in or just relaxing in the hammocks to catch a few zzzz's! Adventure opportunities are readily available as well. Seagrapes Cabana is a purpose built one bedroom private building on our property by the beach. There is a kitchen/ Lounge space with a gas cooker/oven, upright fridge freezer, and double sink, with fitted cupboards in the kitchen area. There is a small sofa in the living area which also converts to a small bed. The bedroom has a double bed and a small air-condition unit. The cabana also benefits from ceiling fans and has wifi. The french doors lead onto a verandah where you can sit and enjoy watching all the birds that stop by our yard, with the beach and sea just a few yards away from your front door.
