🌊 Full-Day Hol Chan Marine Reserve Snorkeling Adventure Join us on an unforgettable full-day snorkeling adventure to the world-famous Hol Chan Marine Reserve, featuring six amazing ... morestops along the Belize Barrier Reef!
Two stops are inside the reserve — Shark Ray Alley and a guided snorkel through the Hol Chan Channel led by your experienced tour guide. Outside the reserve, we’ll explore three more exciting sites: a manatee search, the colorful Coral Gardens, and the mysterious shipwreck site. Our final stop is a sightseeing experience — feeding the huge tarpons from the boat behind Caye Caulker!
If conditions allow, you’ll have the special opportunity to snorkel with a manatee, one of Belize’s most beloved marine creatures, at one of their known hotspots.
After exploring, enjoy a delicious local lunch, fresh fruit, and refreshing drinks on board. Capture your adventure with our complimentary GoPro photos and videos, and relax with rum punch as we cruise back to Caye Caulker.

All excursions are conducted on a 25-foot speedboat which has dry compartments for personal belongs, also equipped with life jackets for emergencies or can also be used for the snorkeling if needed, a fire extinguisher, a first aid kit, and a canopy for sun protection.

It starts on Caye Caulker at our tour office at 9:00 am with a quick briefing on how we'll conduct the tour to keep it eco-friendly and fun, then we load up in the boat and go to a marine reserve that's 32+ years old called Hol chan.
This tour will give you the opportunity to see a wide array of marine life including sharks, rays, beautiful schools of fish, pristine corals, turtles, and majestic manatees. Everything we see we can snorkel with, of course at a safe distance to not disturb the marine life. Lastly, we have some bonus stops to do some fun sightseeing around the island. The tour ends around 3:00/3:30.

Once the snorkeling is done we head back to Caye Caulker for lunch and some exploring/shopping time. Then we leave Caye Caulker and party all the way back to the city!

We also give you the option to explore ( Belize's own version of the Titanic) the sunken barge. Nearby when the water temperature is just right you can swim just 10 feet away from a manatee. Stare in amazement as these gentle giants come up for air and look into your eyes with curiosity.
Once back at Caye Caulker, we visit the seahorses and the tarpons that reside on the west side of the island.
To reduce the amount of plastic waste produced, we ask that you PLEASE bring along a personal water bottle to refill.
**Price of the ferry from Belize City or San Pedro to the tour starting point can be a lot less if guests opt for us to purchase the ferry tickets for them.**

After a 20-minute ride to Hol Chan Marine Reserve, you will see lots of things to see on the way. Once you arrive, you will enjoy all the wonders of the reef such are marine life, coral, sharks, rays, and much more. Swimming and Snorkeling are optional at the reserve, where you can enjoy the tropical marine life and coral firsthand. Next, the glass bottom boat will take you to the amazing Shark Ray Alley where you can observe sharks and rays from the safety of your glass bottom boat, or again you have the option to swim or snorkel with them. But, it’s against the law to touch or hold any marine life while swimming or snorkeling.
Trips depart at the tour dock at 9:00 AM or 2:00 PM and last about 2 1/2 Hours. Requires a minimum of 2 persons or you can pay an additional fee and go with less than the minimum. Bottled Water and Soft Drinks are included. Snorkel Gear is optional on this tour.

Snorkeling at Hol Chan, visiting the nurse sharks and the stingrays, snorkeling with the manatees, feeding the tarpons, and visiting the seahorses definitely needs a whole day. This ... moreis a full day full of Fun!
Pick-up time can either be 8:00 am or 8:30 - you decide. The first stop is at Hol Chan - "Little Channel". That is our first snorkeling stop. Once completed, less than 3 minutes boat ride we get to Shark and Ray Alley. Here you can either stay on the boat and snap pictures or go in the water to SWIM with marine species like nurse sharks, stingrays, horse-eye jacks, and much more fish. We bring sardines to feed them...
After that, we move towards our sister island Caye Caulker. We head to the Northern Channel where we go look out for the manatees. Once spotted, you get on your snorkeling gear and go in to snorkel with them. So Marvelous!
We then go to the island and visit the famous "Split" which divides the island into two parts that were caused in 1961 by hurricane Hattie. On the leeward part of the island, we go to feed the big tarpons from the boat - if you are brave enough! Lol. Not too far we have the seahorse city reserve. You get to look at them. Once all of this is done, normally around 12:30 pm we go to the island to walk and find a restaurant of your choice where you will have lunch. Lunch is not included in this tour. We depart from Caye Caulker to San Pedro around 3:00 pm.

This snorkeling tour takes approximately 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours. Hol Chan Marine Reserve is a famous snorkeling site that offers plenty of marine life. This trip includes three snorkeling ... morestops. One at the channel, one at the Conch Grave Yard, and another at the Shark and Ray Alley. While snorkeling there, you have chances of seeing Sting Rays, Turtles, Moray Eels, Nurse Sharks, and a variety of fish species. The cost for this tour is $65.00 USD per person.
