International Airport Arrival:
For all international air travelers entering Belize, the port of entry is at the Philip Goldson International Airport (PGIA/BZE), located a few miles outside of Belize City in the village of Ladyville.
From the airport to your final destination, you will need local transportation. There are several options:
- If you are traveling to the islands, you can take a domestic flight or water taxi.
- If taking a domestic flight, book a time about 1 hour after your arrival. If arriving on a Saturday, book 2 hours.
- Flights are available to San Pedro, Caye Caulker, Placencia, and Dangriga.
- If you are taking the water taxi, you will need ground transportation to the water taxi terminal about 30 minutes away. The last boat leaves at 5:30pm
- If you are going to a mainland destination, you can fly or take a shared or private shuttle from the airport. Airport taxi is more expensive for most destinations beyond Belize City. Pre-Book a shuttle.
- If you have getting a rental, you will pick up your rental in the rental services building directly across from the arrival hall.

Schedule Your Return: Please determine your return time in advance, as the shuttle will be scheduled according to the ferry time you indicate.
Luggage Policy: Each passenger can carry a small or lightweight cargo of up to 150 lbs. Ensure all items are properly packaged and checked in at least 30 minutes before departure.
Flexibility: Reservations can be rescheduled up to 48 hours before departure. Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the scheduled date will receive a full refund, minus a 3% credit card fee.
Fare Validity: Fares are valid only for the specific schedule, date, and time provided by San Pedro Belize Express/Caribbean Sprinter.
Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the original departure date.
Approved rescheduling requests are subject to a 25% rescheduling fee.
Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the original departure date cannot be accommodated, and the ticket may be considered null and void.
All exchanges and rescheduling are subject to the ferry operator's availability and processing requirements.
A rescheduling request does not guarantee availability on the requested new date or departure time.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the original departure date are subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the original departure date are non-refundable, and the full payment will be forfeited.
No-shows are non-refundable.

Travelers are responsible for providing accurate flight and travel information at the time of booking. Any changes to flights or travel plans should be communicated to us as soon as possible so that we can review and adjust the transfer arrangements where availability permits.
Please note: Water taxi schedules are subject to change by the operating carrier without prior notice. We recommend allowing adequate connection time between your water taxi and any onward international or domestic flight.
