This tour will give you the opportunity to see a wide array of marine life including sharks, rays, beautiful schools of fish, pristine corals, turtles, and majestic manatees. Everything we see we can snorkel with, of course at a safe distance to not disturb the marine life. Lastly, we have some bonus stops to do some fun sightseeing around the island. The tour ends around 3:00/3:30.

Hol Chan is one of the oldest marine reserves in Belize. The marine life is healthy and abundant. You will be surrounded by numerous colorful fish and corals, eagle rays, turtles, ... moreeels, barracuda, and many more.
We also give you the option to explore ( Belize's own version of the Titanic) the sunken barge. Nearby when the water temperature is just right you can swim just 10 feet away from a manatee. Stare in amazement as these gentle giants come up for air and look into your eyes with curiosity.
Once back at Caye Caulker, we visit the seahorses and the tarpons that reside on the west side of the island.
To reduce the amount of plastic waste produced, we ask that you PLEASE bring along a personal water bottle to refill.

After a 20-minute ride to Hol Chan Marine Reserve, you will see lots of things to see on the way. Once you arrive, you will enjoy all the wonders of the reef such are marine life, coral, sharks, rays, and much more. Swimming and Snorkeling are optional at the reserve, where you can enjoy the tropical marine life and coral firsthand. Next, the glass bottom boat will take you to the amazing Shark Ray Alley where you can observe sharks and rays from the safety of your glass bottom boat, or again you have the option to swim or snorkel with them. But, it’s against the law to touch or hold any marine life while swimming or snorkeling.
Trips depart at the tour dock at 9:00 AM or 2:00 PM and last about 2 1/2 Hours. Requires a minimum of 2 persons or you can pay an additional fee and go with less than the minimum. Bottled Water and Soft Drinks are included. Snorkel Gear is optional on this tour.

Enjoy the sights of the barrier reef during this snorkel tour. During your stop at Hol Chan, you will experience abundant marine life. At Shark Ray Alley you will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with nurse sharks, rays, and jacks as they swim around the boat.
Mexico Rocks
A short boat ride north takes you to Mexico Rocks where you will snorkel in a protected area with abundant marine life. Great for beginners but with enough to see to keep the experienced snorkeler engaged.
Tres Cocos
During this tour, you will get the opportunity to snorkel at two sites–Tres Cocos and Tuffy. At Tres Cocos, you will encounter large brain coral, sea fans, and much marine fish. At Tuffy, the marine life is the star of the site.

The first stop is "Coral Gardens". While you snorkel, my tour guides will jump in the water with you. Some of them will be helping you snorkel, while others will be spearing some fish or lobster for lunch. What we catch is going to be lunch for that day.
Next, we move on to the Manatee Look Out to swim with the Manatees.
Note: Touching the Manatees is not allowed. We cannot guarantee 100% that they are going to be there, because they are not in captivity, but we have a chance of 60% to 70% to see them.
After lunch, we are going to take you to the marine parks. The first one is going to be Shark Ray Ally where you are going to swim with the nurse sharks (not dangerous) and after that stop, we save the best for the last, Hol Chan.
Hol Chan Marine Reserve is rated #2 in the world and is the best snorkeling stop in the country of Belize. Here you are going to swim with over 256 different species of marine life, guaranteed to see big turtles, over 50lbs groupers, and more. Off the southern tip of Ambergris Caye is Belize's oldest marine reserve, the Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Hol Chan is Mayan for 'little channel." The reserve was formed primarily as a community-based initiative due to concern over the high level of uncontrolled, often destructive fishing and diving activities in the area.
For several years, local fishermen often cleaned their catch in Shark Ray Alley, located just inside the reef, to the south of Ambergris Caye. When fishermen noticed that their activity had attracted Nurse Sharks and several Southern Sting Rays, they reported this information to the dive operations in San Pedro, who then dispatched some divers to investigate. What they found was a bonanza, and "Shark-Ray Alley" quickly became a very popular dive site.
As soon as your boat arrives in the area, the guide points out all of the dark shadows in the shallow (eight-foot deep) waters. These are the sharks and rays that hear the boat approach and come in search of a few scraps of fish.

Turtle Snorkel site and Sting Ray Alley is 04 miles southeast of San Pedro Ambergris Caye island. This Marine Reserve is one of the most popular dive and snorkeling sites. You will ... morebe snorkeling with the Turtles and stingrays 15 feet deep inside the Marine reserve reef, with vigorous coral formations and richness of marine life. At Sting Ray Alley you will all so see when you arrive ecstatic Nurse Sharks and southern stingrays, surface often boiling with rolling sharks and stingrays as they compete for the scraps. These creatures have a great tolerance for divers and snorkelers as the rays, which have a 'wing span' of two to four feet, swim directly towards you turned up hoping for a handheld tad bit to be placed near their mouths, and the docile Nurse Sharks average four to six feet in length. The entire reserve focuses on a cut through the reef ( called a Quebrada ) which is little more than 25 yards wide and 30 feet deep about 04 miles southeast of San Pedro. Hole Chan has burgeoned into a unique refuge, with vigorous coral formations and richness of marine life. Realizing the importance of the coral reef community off Ambergris Caye, Belize, the Government of Belize established the Hole Chan Marine Reserve on May 02. 1987. Shark Ray Alley was officially declared Zone ''D'' of the Hole Chan Marine Reserve on August 31st,1999.

Another great diving site is a cut that is through the barrier reef which leads you to the opening sea. Because this area is protected, there is a rich number of marine friends, also ... morewhile driving through the small cave there is a huge dog snapper who might smile at you and show you his big teeth but don't panic one slight move and he is off to another spot. Here you get the chance to see a variety of sea creatures, from eels to sharks and many other species of fish and corals, don't forget the stingrays too.
This tour is 2 coral dives. The first dive is 70ft/21m for 50 minutes
In between, we have a Surface Interval at the Hol Chan Marine Reserve for one hour.
