We are not a resort, instead we offer budget accommodations so that more of your money can be spent on your activities, which means we don't have all the amenities you would find in a resort. But then you aren't paying resort prices.
We offer self-contained cabanas for rent giving very reasonable value for your travel dollar investment. Each cabana contains a fully functioning kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, dishes, pots, pans, silverware. Each cabana has a queen-sized bed, along with furniture in a seating area for cushioned comfort. Ceiling fans and air conditioning help to keep the unit comfortable.
We live on-site so we are available daily for assistance. There are two dogs on the property who do a good job of providing security and company.

The Sundial Beach House sits directly on the Caribbean sea between the sleepy little fishing village of Hopkins and the Sittee River. It is near all amenities such as restaurants, grocery stores, scuba diving shops, local outfitters, a pharmacy and a gym. All are easily accessible by bicycle.
The open plan living cabin is perfect for two people. It is equipped with a queen size bed, futon, fully furnished kitchen, hot water (with good pressure!), wifi, bluetooth speaker, TV with Chromecast, ceiling fans and AC. We also offer the usage of 2 bicycles to get around the village and visit the surroundings as well as a double sea kayak to explore the bay or Sittee River via the Curve Bar Marina access point.
The viewing platform over the water is great place to watch the sunrise as well as the local wildlife such as rays, manatees and dolphins. We can also work with our property manager to organize private tours or transfers for you. Or you can simply chose to lounge around in a hamac on the large wrap around deck.

We don't offer A/C, but we do offer a pool and each cabin is equipped with a ceiling fan and a large positionable fan for your comfort.
The design of the cabins are based on the idea of having something different that was edgy but comfortable, loosely based on the style of Shepherd Huts. Taking into consideration that they be luxurious but simple, we want our guests to have as much opportunity to go and spend time in the community.

This is a tiny home, set on the outskirts of Hopkins Village, just past GariMaya Gift Shop. We strive to ensure you have everything you need to have a comfortable stay and if something isn't available, just tell us. Either we will get it or we can't but we can chat about it. Our objective is to ensure your stay with us is as comfortable as we can make it.
We use locally sourced artwork, furniture, blankets, appliances wherever possible. We have a yardman come at least once a week to keep the yard looking great and we provide a once a week housekeeper for those staying longer than 1 week. This service is provided at no charge to our guests. The housekeeper will clean the bathroom as well as change all the linens. Any other cleaning you may want to be done please arrange with the cleaning lady at your own discretion.
We provide a coffee pot, kettle, microwave, pots and pans, dishes and flatware, cups and glasses, cooking utensils, towels.
Wi-Fi, hot water, air conditioning, and most importantly privacy. For a better price than anywhere else around.
We have had guests stay for a few days and others have stayed for months.
We live and work on the property so are always available to answer questions and provide information. But we also recognize that you are on vacation so we leave you alone as much or as little as you like.
