To kick off the morning we pick you up from your dock at 8:30 am and we head over along the reef for a few hours to do the best reef fishing. If you have never done reef fishing or any fishing at all, that is not a problem we will give you tips to land them. We will fish sustainably to cook your lunch catch, the catch of the day is the freshest meal ever. Want to take a swim? no problem you can do so before we take you to shore.
Then we move to a scenic and private spot along the shores of Ambergris Caye, where you can bask in the sun, sand, fresh Caribbean Breeze puffing on the palm trees, and a delicious lunch freshly grilled right at the spot.
Great, now that our stomach is settled we move to do some of the best snorkeling on the island on crystal clear waters which boast an abundance of marine life. Mexico rocks, usually not crowded, features large coral formations and beautiful tropical fishes. Hol Chan, Marine Reserve also offers the most exclusive snorkeling experience in Belize. Altun Ha is an ancient Mayan City about 30 miles north of Belize City, dating back to about B.C. 900. It is believed the city was occupied for centuries up until A.D. 1000, covering ... morethe classic period A.D. 250-900, the time from which most of the information of this city was gathered and the time when the city was at its height.
The name Altun Ha means “Rockstone Water”, and it is derived from the name of a nearby village called Rockstone Pond, but Altun-Ha’s ancient name remains unknown. The largest temple of Altun Ha is the Temple of the Masonry Altars which stands 54 feet high. The Sun God’s Tomb is also found on this temple dated for about A.D. 600-650, in which researchers found a skeleton and various artifacts when the tomb was excavated.
