Come join us as we go through a cultural journey of our ancestors. Taking you over Fresh Water Creek lagoon to the once thriving ‘Over Johnson’ island, a recreational place for our ancestors. It now hosts an abundance of Garifuna artifacts & art, that is used to depict our history and culture. Our traditional utensils are now used to teach how to prepare the ‘HUDUT’, a scrumptious meal of dignitaries;made form fresh fish, organic mashed plantains and all natural coconut broth. Also learn the melodious beats of our Garifuna drums as our skilled instructor guides your hands ,heart and feet through the melodies.
