Its deepest point lies at 124 meters and has an almost perfect circular shape which is 300 meters wide.

French explorer Jacques-Yves Cousteau declared it “one of the top ten dive sites in the world.”

The Great Blue Hole, off the coast of Belize, is a diver’s paradise. But if diving is not for you, you can also snorkel for a full day around the hole and nearby. The Blue Hole is well known among diving enthusiasts, for whom this place has them all: clear waters, a variety of flora and fauna as you can meet here nurse sharks, Caribbean reef sharks, and bull sharks.

Scuba Diving the Blue Hole is a full-day diving experience. On this trip, you will do three tank dives in three different spots. The first stop is at the Blue Hole. The second stop is at Half Moon Caye Wall. After the second dive, we head to Half Moon Caye, where you rest for a while and have lunch. The third dive spot will be at the Aquarium at Long Caye. Then, we cruise back home watching the sunset.

Depart Dock to The Blue HoleThe boat leaves at 6:00 am, right after having a light breakfast. It takes around 2 hours to reach the Great Blue Hole.6:00 AM
First Dive StopThe Great Blue Hole:At the Blue Hole, you will dive at approximately 130ft. You will enjoy the magnificence of this site and understand why it is an unbelievable experience.
Second Dive StopHalf Moon Caye: At the Half Moon Caye Wall, you will dive at approximately 60ft. The Half Moon Caye Wall is a vertical abyss and is unparalleled anywhere else in the world.
LunchLunch at Half Moon Caye
Third Dive StopThe Aquarium:At the Aquarium, you will be diving at around 50ft. The Aquarium is another "drop-off wall" that goes into the deep. Here you can view many types of fish in pairs or in big schools.
Return HomeAfter a day of diving, you will be tired. You can relax all the way back home, sipping on rum punch and watching the sunset. You will be back home around 5:30 p.m.5:30 PM
