Description
About Location
Hattieville is a village in the Belize District of the nation of Belize. The location of the village was initially a place of refuge after hurricane Hattie wreaked havoc in Belize in 1961. Many residents living in Belize City were left homeless and had to evacuate. Many of those who moved to the area ended up staying permanently and established what is known as Hattieville today.
