About Location
Spanish Lookout is a Mennonite community in the Cayo District of Belize. The community is largely agricultural but also has some light industry, furniture making, and prefabricated wood houses.  Spanish Lookout is also home to the only oil field production in Belize.

The Mennonite community in Spanish Lookout is quite modern as cars are driven and other modern conveniences are used. The citizens of this community speak Plautdietsch as their mother tongue, but most of the Mennonites in Spanish Lookout also speak English and Spanish.
