You can explore the wonders of the Mayan world through various activities such as visiting the famous Mayan ruins of Altun Ha, relaxing with cave tubing, and going on a sightseeing ... moretour around Belize.

Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel, the cruise terminal, the water taxi, or the Municipal in Belize City. You'll be transported in air-conditioned transportation to Altun Ha, which is about 45-60 minutes away from Belize City. Please note that the order of activities may change depending on the time and conditions.

Altun Ha is a Maya ceremonial center and trading hub that dates back to 250 BC. It's located in the heart of the Belize rainforest and is home to over 275 structures. The site was discovered in 1958, and if weather conditions permit, you can still climb to the top of the temples for a breathtaking view of the rainforest. Experience the aura of these ancient stargazers who once lived in the Belize rainforests.

After the guided excursion to Altun Ha, your guide will take you to Nohoch Che'en Archaeological Park, which is about 60 minutes away from the ruins. This park is the starting point for your cave tubing adventure. Cave tubing is one of the most popular guided activities in Belize.

Once you arrive, you'll have access to the facilities before your excursion guide reviews the safety rules and instructions. You'll receive a headlamp and then follow your guide on a 30-minute walk to the cave entrance.

Your excursion guide will take you to explore the mysterious caves that were once considered the ancient underworld of the Maya. You'll see spectacular crystal formations that are over a million years old and shadows on the cave walls as you gently float along. The caves are a living museum where you can experience the past in its historical and natural form. You'll glide past openings in the ceiling, filtering jungle light as you float through underground river caves sparkling with studded stalactites and stalagmites. You'll get to float through three caves in total.

Once the cave tubing portion of your Belize adventure is completed, you'll enjoy an original and traditional Belizean lunch with refreshments included. This Belize Cave Tubing and Altun Ha Mayan Ruins tour is safe and dependable, and it will leave you with many beautiful memories of Belize.

Tour with us as we unveil the mysteries and secrets of the Maya underworld. Morales family, owners, and pioneers to this location many years ago can recount many stories of the logging ... moredays, jaguars, and the long mule trips into their little “paradise.” The cave, a healthy 40-minute climb through the bush from the Morales farm, consists of Mayan pottery-filled chambers with large intact pots varying in size, shape, and decoration.

Che Chem Ha Cave was used by the Maya as a storehouse for grain as well as a ceremonial center for their after-life bloodletting rituals. The different levels of the cave contain numerous pristine artifacts, including large pottery vessels, some with paintings and other district markings. One of the chambers contains artifacts used in performing their ritualized ceremonies.
