Description
You will be transferred to the Belize-Guatemala border and after crossing the border with our assistance, you will meet your English-speaking Guatemalan guide who will continue your journey to Tikal National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the way, you will pass small villages, beautiful lakeside scenery, and rolling hills with rainforests and agriculture farms. Tikal is one of the most impressive and popular Maya pyramids in the region. It has over 3,000 structures dominated by 5 enormous steep-sided granite temples that rise above the forest. The Temple of the Jaguar is sure to be the highlight of your trip as its stone walls, standing at 47 meters, rises above the rainforest canopy and allow you a panoramic view of the surrounding expanse of growth.
