For this half-day fishing charter, we fish inshore of Ambergris Caye. While fishing we have chances of catching snapper, barracuda, and other types of inshore fish. Not too far away, just about 10-15 minutes from our dock are the Ambergris Caye extensive grass flats and the ... morelagoons known for the barracuda, jacks, grouper, sharks, and permits. These top of of the food chain predators are vicious and are sure to strike and give you an outstanding fight on a neat fly or lure.
Morning fishing can be exceptional and the flats are only about a mile from the blue waters replenishing the flats constantly with fish bonefish, tarpons, and permits.

First, we stop at Mexico Rocks, a coral patch between the reef and the shores of Ambergris Caye, where you begin a snorkeling experience you won't forget. Snorkeling here is mainly boasted by the magnificent boulder formations of Brain Corals, Elk Horns, and Great Star Corals that provide shelter for tropical fishes and critters. Some of them include spiny lobsters, yellowtail snappers, and stingrays. A cave looking like a path is also found here where you will find hundreds of baby snappers staring at you while you glide over them.

There are many great snorkeling spots along the barrier reef. Some of the more popular spots are Hol Chan Marine Reserve, Shark Ray Alley, Coral Gardens, Mexico Rocks, and the Great Blue Hole.
Snorkeling along the reef, you can see many species of wildlife. There is an abundance of fish of different sizes, shapes, and colors. There are also many species of coral creating a home for a variety of sea life. At Shark Ray Alley, you can swim with the nurse sharks and stingrays. At Hol Chan, you can see big groups of fish. At the Blue Hole, you can see many species of sharks. There is always something incredible to see while snorkeling.
