Perfect Tour
I took a tour of the Xunantunich ruins and cave tubing with Way To Go Tours and I highly recommend them. My tour guide Byron (Avatar) was very knowledgeable on both sites. Born and raise in Belize he’s as local as local gets. I don’t think Avatar was unable to answer the many questions I had (and I ask A LOT of questions). Xunantunich is worth a visit for those who want to be enrich with Mayan life ... more and culture and cave tubing was also filled with lots of history with a relaxing lazy river spin to it. As a bonus we stopped at a local food stand between sites and got a taste of authentic Belize cuisine. My only issue is that when I asked in advance what to bring I was told to “wear comfortable shoes,” when in fact you WILL need water shoes (you will have to rent shoes if you don’t have your own) Way To Go Tours knows their stuff, Thanks for the perfect day!
