Description
This tour will take you from the Maya temple to the entrance of the Mayan underworld. The adventure starts at the popular Mayan site of Xunantunich; just getting there is an adventure of its own. After touring the temples, we drive to No’och Che’ en Cave, where you will start off on an easy hike through the jungle to your starting point. As you sit back and enjoy tubing downstream, you will be floating through a series of remarkable limestone caves, each filled with fascinating discoveries of the Mayan underworld. There is also an opportunity to leave your tubes behind and go exploring cave chambers, where you will see ceramic pieces and beautiful geological formations. The adventure ends floating downstream through the jungles of Belize; back at the starting point.

Leo is the Best! Great Tours!
We toured the Xunantunich and the Cave Tubing with Leo and it was an absolute blast!! He was so informative of the history and culture and very accommodating to us. We got lucky with a private tour and even got to see an extra cave! Definitely recommend this company and this tour. Worth every penny! Lunch was delicious too!

Fun Experience
Marlin was absolutely a perfect guide. He is knowledgeable. At the ruins and the caves. Funny. Interactive. He works his tail off for you. We were a small group of 4, plus Marlin. We ended up exchanging numbers at the end as we all felt like family. Highly recommended. I am sure you can see the sites "cheaper". But you get what you pay for. Or don't. Well worth it to book.

Highlight of our trip
Marlon was amazing! We were a group of 12 with a wide range of ages 4-60+. He accommodated all of our needs with humor and patience. Marlon was a wealth of information and so gracious with all of our questions. Sharing his culture’s history was the most interesting and informative educational experience I’ve had. When it was time for our cave tubing we picked up another guide, Jose, whom was just ... more as patient and informative. The incredible amount of work they both did was mind blowing. Their energy never waned. From pick up at 8am to drop off that evening, Marlon was the best guide and human to spend the day with. The quality of this tour was worth every penny.

One of best experiences ever!
Our tour guide Marlon was punctual, friendly, very helpful, extremely knowledgeable, kind, safety conscious, and very accommodating! I can’t say enough nice things about him. We did Xunantunich in the morning and beat the crowds, then on to Nooch Che’en cave tubing and exploring. DON’T SKIP THE EXPLORING PART! It was a bit of Indiana Jones adventure mixed with relaxing tubing in a breathtaking landscape! ... more If we make it back to Belize we will do it again and will request Marlon.

An amazing experience!
This was the most amazing tour we have ever been on. Miguel was so kind, great with our kids (especially our high energy five year old) and super knowledgeable! We cannot recommend this tour enough it is great for the whole family and it made our entire trip unforgettable.!

Great way to spend the day!
We ended up being the only two on the tour so it had a great private feel. Bryton was a wonderful guide. His knowledge about the Mayan ruins really made them come alive in our minds. He knew every inch of the caves and took us to areas that are rarely explored by other guides. So much so that we were the last people there at the end of the day. We had a great time and will definitely book with this ... more company again.

Fantastic Day!
This company made this excursion convenient, fun and memorable! Getting picked up right at our hotel in San Ignacio was +++! Xunantunich, lunch, cave tubing, learning about what we were seeing and where we were traveling was fun. Jahir was super nice, patient, accommodating and attentive. Best Day Ever!
We had the pleasure of being guided by the lovely Giselle. She honestly made our day that much better with her interesting folk stories, historical information, and friendly personality. We were picked up at our hotel and made our way to Xunantunich where she answered all of our questions and took her time showing us everything the site had to offer. We all felt safe and comfortable during the cave ... more tubing experience and had a great time in the water. By the end of the day, we felt like Giselle was one of us. We gained a local friend and an amazing experience/memory of some of the best Belize has to offer. 10/10 would recommend.

Unbeliezable
We had an incredible time with Francisco. We visited Xunantunich and cave tubing, both of which exceeded our expectations. Not to mention the awesome lunch. Cisco went above and beyond in our opinion. We also got up close and personal with a spider monkey. Cisco knew when to be at each location before the cruise ship visitors arrived. His knowledge of the Mayan culture, ruins and the flora and fauna ... more was fantastic. Highly recommend this tour.

UnBelizeable Time with Francisco!!!
Our trip to Xunantunich and Cave Tubing exceeded my expectations. There were 6 of us on the tour and Francisco did an incredible job ensuring that all of us were comfortable and having a good time. He was so knowledgeable about the area and shared so many things we would have never known if we just visited these places on our own. The lunch was amazing and we even had howler monkeys as lunch guests!! ... more The cave tubing adventure was by far the best part. The walk through the jungle and the float down the River were magical and Francisco took us into places in the caves that took my breath away! I would absolutely do this tour again (with Francisco) and highly recommend it!! On a very important note….you truly do need bug spray! Those mosquitoes 🦟 are no joke and we paid dearly!
