Realizing the importance of the coral reef community off Ambergris Caye, Belize, the Government of Belize established the Hole chan Marine Reserve on May 02. 1987. Shark Ray Alley was officially declared Zone ''D'' of the Hole Chan Marine Reserve on August 31st,1999.

We will then head to the neighboring Shark Ray Alley, where you will snorkel or dive and be able to get up close and personal with ecstatic Nurse Sharks and Southern Stingray. When you arrive, you will see surface often bolling with rolling sharks and stingray as they compete for the scraps. these creatures have a great tolerance for divers and snorkelers. Your guide will meet you at your hotel of choice in Belize City and along the Philip Goldson Highway (only). If outside of Belize City you will need to contact us via email or by telephone ... morewith your pick up information. You will then be taken on a short city tour where your driver/tour guide will be pointing out historical sites and give you some interesting stories of Belize City. From there you will take an exit on the Philip Goldson Highway for an hour and a half drive where you will get a chance to see some wetlands and flora and fauna along the highway. Your guide will also give you some brief information about the different walks of life in the small villages that you will pass.

After arriving at the Toll Bridge in Orange Walk we meet another guide from that area who is well knowledgeable of the area and will proceed to the Cuello’s distillery and the Mayan site for about an hour.

After visiting the rum factory you will then take a short ride on an off-road to the nearby Mennonite Community where you will be stepping back into time when horse and carriage used to be the only mode of transportation in Belize. It is also where the Largest Jade was ever found in the Mayan Kingdom. During an excavation, Dr. David Pendergast, along with Mr. Wilhelm Leslie of Rockstone Pond, and another Belizean (Mr. Winston Herbert of Lucky Strike Village), had discovered the famous jade sculpture of Kinich Ahau, in 1968. 

After visiting Altun Ha we head back towards Belize City were your Tour Guide will take you along the South side of Belize City where guests will be able to view life on the south side of the city then will make a short stop at one of the oldest church in Central America, St. John’s Cathedral built in 1812, then will proceed back to the Fort Street Tourism Village.

Xunantunich is an Ancient Mayan archaeological site in western Belize, about 80 miles (130 km) west of Belize City, in the Cayo District or about 8 miles west of San Ignacio Town in the Cayo District. 

Xunantunich is located atop a ridge above the Mopan River, well within sight of Guatemala. It served as a Maya civic ceremonial center in the Late and Terminal Classic periods to the Belize Valley region. At this time, when the region was at its’ peak, nearly 200,000 people lived in Belize. 

Xunantunich’s name means “Stone Woman” it is a combination of Mopan and Yucatec Maya, and, like many names given to Maya archaeological sites, is a modern name; the ancient name is currently unknown. The “Stone Woman” refers to the ghost of a woman claimed by several people to inhabit the site, beginning in 1892. She is dressed completely in white and has fire-red glowing eyes. She generally appears in front of “El Castillo”, ascends the stone stairs, and disappears into a stone wall.

After visiting Xunantunich you will have some time to purchase lunch at a Local restaurant before heading back to Belize City where you will be given a short tour on the Southside of Belize City before being dropped off at your destination.

Your friendly Tour Guide will meet guests at Fort Street Tourism Village in Belize City then will commence tour by welcoming them to beautiful sunny Belize. He will then make his way ... morethrough Belize City while giving them some brief history about Belize. He will then proceed on the George Price Highway which is a 40-minute drive out of the City and inform them about who George Price was and what he has done for our country.

Along the highway, guests will be able to see some small communities and some flora and fauna along the highways as well as some wetlands. You will then arrive at the Belize Zoo where your tour guide will allow you some time to use the restroom before you start the tour for about an hour. 

At the Belize Zoo, you will be able to see some native animals to Belize as well as some troublesome animals such as Jaguars and Crocodiles that were harming the livestock of our farmers. Some were donated to the Belize Zoo because they were illegal to have as pet, and others were rescued from the wild. From there you will continue on your way to Jaguar Paw where you will enjoy both the Rain Forest and the Underworld of the Mayas as you hike for about 30 minutes through the Rain Forest and your guide will point out different medicinal plants and their benefits that were once used by the Mayas and locals today. 

After your 30 minutes hike, you will then sit in an inner tube and enjoy the refreshing cold river water that will carry you through the cave system. Your Guide will do all the work for you while he entertains and guides you through the cave system for about 2 hours. After your tour is finished you will then have lunch and make your way back to Belize City where you will be taken back to the Fort Street Tourism Village.
