This tour includes an entire day filled with adventure. We start our day by heading down to the northern part of Ambergris Caye. On our way to Bacalar Chico Marine Reserve, we cross ... morea fringing reef called Rocky Point. Once we arrive at the Bacalar Chico Marine Reserve we then do two snorkeling stops. One is done at the channel and the second one is done at Barracuda Alley. After a fun day of snorkeling, we stop at the beach to eat delicious rice and beans. Once the food is served and everyone is happy, we jump onboard and make our way through the river that splits Mexico with Belize. While crossing, be on the lookout for birds, fishes, rays, and sometimes even manatees. After exiting the river, we stop at the information section where you learn some history from the Mayans and the island of Ambergris Caye. This information site has a tower that you can climb. The view from up there is amazing. After leaving the information center, we make our way from the back part of the island. If the group is not tired, we can stop at an isolated beach for the kids and family to swim a little. The total cost for this tour is $600 USD for the charter. Cost includes 6 persons and any additional is $100.00 USD.

Here we drop off snorkelers who snorkel off the beach of the Island, while the divers go off the Boat, your first dive and snorkel last approximately 50 minutes. After this, we then prepare our finger-licking island bbq on the island for lunch.
After an hour of lunch and enjoying the island, we then go for a second dive and snorkel, also lasting approximately 50 minutes, when this is completed, the entire group ( both snorkelers and divers) gets back on the boat and go to Turtle alley, where we swim with Turtles, Rays and Nurse Sharks for about 25 minutes. (turtle alley snorkel is only done when tours go to Silk Caye)
When this is completed we then head back to the mainland

Off the southern tip of Ambergris Caye is Belize's oldest marine reserve, the Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Hol Chan is Mayan for 'little channel." The reserve was formed primarily as a community-based initiative due to concern over the high level of uncontrolled, often destructive fishing and diving activities in the area.
For several years, local fishermen often cleaned their catch in Shark Ray Alley, located just inside the reef, to the south of Ambergris Caye. When fishermen noticed that their activity had attracted Nurse Sharks and several Southern Sting Rays, they reported this information to the dive operations in San Pedro, who then dispatched some divers to investigate. What they found was a bonanza, and "Shark-Ray Alley" quickly became a very popular dive site.
As soon as your boat arrives in the area, the guide points out all of the dark shadows in the shallow (eight-foot deep) waters. These are the sharks and rays that hear the boat approach and come in search of a few scraps of fish.

Day 2: BARTON CREEK CAVES /BIG ROCK FALLS/BUTTERFLY FARM (FULL DAY)
After breakfast, we board an SUV and drive over rolling hills through the Amish Community and across the river to the entrance of the cave. We arrive at the cave and use the facilities and canoe inside the cave for at least 2 km. Most people find the canoe tour by torchlight through this cave unforgettable. Its large river passage and pristine formations are just two of the reasons why this appeals to both local and foreign visitors. Besides its natural beauty, the site is made even more interesting by the presence of a wide range of archaeological remains that were left there by the ancient Maya visitors. Archaeologists believe that this cave was used for rituals. You have an optional stop at the Butterfly Farm, the entrance fee for the farm is not included in the package (US$15/pp. At the end of your day, you will stop at the Big Rock Falls for a refreshing dip. Day 3: CARACOL MAYA RUINS (FULL DAY)
After breakfast, we drive to Caracol as we traverse through the Mountain Pine Ridge area. The road travels over a series of creeks, through the lush tropical forest and pine forest, a habitat for a variety of bird species. The highest canopy rainforest is home to several species of cats, as well as rare birds such as the Keel-Billed Mot Mot, Crested Guan, Great Curassow, and Ocellated Turkey. A wide variety of orchids, vines, and trees are also found in the area. This site is home to the tallest man-made structure in Belize, Canna (sky palace), standing some 143 ft above the plaza floor. The discovery of Alter 23, which shows bound captives, indicates that Caracol was an extremely fierce and warlike center. You will ... morebe snorkeling with the Turtles and stingrays 15 feet deep inside the Marine reserve reef, with vigorous coral formations and richness of marine life. At Sting Ray Alley you will all so see when you arrive ecstatic Nurse Sharks and southern stingrays, surface often boiling with rolling sharks and stingrays as they compete for the scraps. Unlike many of the snorkeling ... morespots in Belize that are right on the barrier reef, Mexico Rocks & Tres Cocos is a star coral patch that is located in the shallow waters midway between the great barrier reef and the island of Ambergris Caye.
Mexico Rocks are known for many conches, banded shrimps, arrow crabs, grunts, yellowtail snappers, and an assortment of Butterfly and Angelfish. Tres Cocos is named after three tall coconut trees on shore used to locate the site. The reef here gets as shallow as four feet. Here you will find the most beautiful corals, colorful species of both large and small fishes, shrimp, parrotfish, fairy basslet, sea urchins, spider crabs, lobster, and many other small critters of the sea. You will also see magnificent elk horns, sea whips, and sea rods that make good protection for juvenile fishes. The highlights of this trip are the mountains of brain coral, which grow up to 20 feet. On the sandy seabed, you might even see stingrays, eagle rays, and peacock flounder. The nurse shark is a common site as well.
Mexico Rocks & Tres Cocos is protected from ocean swells and currents, so it makes for easier snorkeling, perfect for beginners. Depth is only about 6 to 12 feet, so you can see everything up close. Water visibility in this area of the crystal clear Caribbean Sea is about 50 feet or more.
