Davis Falls is located deep in the rainforest of southern Belize making it a great place to experience the natural beauty of Belize.
On this Adventure, we offer a tractor ride on a custom-built trailer through some of Belize's Orange Orchards and rainforest. Along the way, you will cross several rivers and streams and see a variety of vegetation and wildlife. After an hour and a half tractor ride, you will arrive at our property known as Misty Vale. From there, we begin an arduous one-mile hike through the rainforest before you arrive at Davis Falls.

After this another climb takes you to the stone chamber where the Crystal Maiden lies, this is the skeleton of a teenage girl who was sacrificed and left in the cave. Over thousands of years, her remains have been covered by a layer of diamond-like limestone. The Mayas sacrificed humans in the hopes of appeasing the gods and bringing fertility to the land.

The Chocolate-Making Session
Back to the chocolate facility, here you will be greeted by the exotic aroma of chocolate heaven. As you make your way to chocolate heaven, where a table awaits you, to indulge in a hot cup of hot chocolate, sample some of our naturally flavored chocolate and make your own chocolate using our stone tools.

Immediately after making your chocolate, we take a look at our processing facility and our gift shop. After which lunch is served by the one and only Chocolate Queen, “Abelina Cho”. Often described in one phrase…. Indiana Jones Movies…. A fitting name for one of the must do adventures in Belize. This adventure starts with a 35–45-minute hike ... moreto the entrance of the cave, with 3 (three) river crossings. Once at the entrance of the cave, a short swim will give you access to the Cave, where then you would be walking in the water for another 25-30 min. Once this is over, you would need to climb a 5-foot boulder, climb on a ledge, then through to the major chamber. Here you’ll find Mayan potteries, and remains; some of which are crystalized and have become part of the cave floor. As you explore this major chamber, you will come to the highlight of the tour, an even smaller chamber that houses the remains of a person, where all bones are accounted for and have been crystalized to the ground of the cave as well. This is a physically challenging tour, but it’s definitely worth it for the experience of a lifetime

Xunantunich is located in the Cayo District across from Benque Viejo Road near the village of San Jose Succotz just a few miles from Belize’s western border with Guatemala. At the village of San Jose Succotz, we cross over the Mopan River using a hand-cranked ferry. From the other side of the river, it’s a mile uphill to the site, which can be accessed on foot or in a vehicle.
Xunantunich Mayan ruin, also known as the “Maiden of the Rock” is the second tallest Mayan ruin in Belize. The largest pyramid, El Castillo stands 130 feet high above the main plaza and offers an impressive panoramic view of the Cayo District, Guatemala, and the Mopan River. The site has been largely excavated and has a well-appointed educational museum.
